This is not confirmed yet, here is the link. The GOP cut parts of Obamacare. Now it’s at the center of a funding fight. Not the news we wanted to read this week, with everything else that is happening, but this impacts all of us.
Here is an excerpt for the link above on Yahoo.com, “But now, the battle over Obamacare is back. Democrats are demanding that at least some of the cuts to former president Barack Obama’s signature law be reversed in exchange for their support of a funding bill, while Republicans are daring Democrats to risk shutting down the government over the issue.”
The USCG release is presented here with links. “USCG Retirees & Annuitants: The CG Pay & Personnel Center (PPC) continues to issue your monthly pay/benefits, including TRICARE allotments, during a federal government shutdown through the DoD Military Retirement Fund (MRF).
USPHS/NOAA Retirees & Annuitants: If there is a federal government shutdown, PPC will issue your monthly pay/benefits, including TRCARE allotments, on the first day of the subsequent month. PPC, however, will not issue your future monthly pay/benefits until the government shutdown ends.“
